This infusion of Ceylon Pekoe has a lively, full-bodied flavor and a copper-red cup color. Named for Lover’s Leap, a well-known tea garden on the high plateau of Nuwara Eliya in the central province of Sri Lanka.
Recommended Steep: 3–4 minutes in freshly boiled water (around 100°C or 212°F).
3 minutes: Yields a lighter, crisp brew with floral undertones and a hint of astringency.
4 minutes: Provides a fuller-bodied, slightly brisk cup with enhanced boldness, while maintaining a smooth finish.
Longer steeping may intensify astringency, so these times will help keep the flavor balanced. Enjoy the bright and refreshing notes of this Ceylon classic!
